The Artworks building is an impressive and inspiring space. The soaring ceiling with clerestory skylights lets light pour in from above, while the exposed brick walls, smooth concrete floor and simple layout make the space versatile and fun to work in. Artworks uses this space to run classes, host gallery shows, maintain artists-in-residence and host other compatible activities.

The Artworks building is a community art space, and as such, Artworks invites the community to be creative and utilize this space in any number of unique and imaginative ways. Whether you are creating art, orchestrating performances, holding an event or a party, the Artworks building is an ideal space.

Artworks is located in the Mill Hill section of Trenton, NJ just steps away from Mill Hill Park and the scenic Assunpink Creek. The building is easy to get to from anywhere in the capital region with easy access from Routes 1, 129 and 29. Free and ample parking is available on weekends and weekday evenings. The building is only minutes away from the Trenton Train Station and several NJ Transit bus stops.

Partner Organizations
Artworks is continually looking to expand its network of non-profit partners that share its mission of making art a more accessible and important part of everyday life. If your non-profit organization shares in this mission and you would like to partner with Artworks to have an event, workshop or activity in the Artworks building, please contact us.

Members
Aside from Partner Organizations, the only other groups or individuals eligible for renting space at the Artworks building are Artworks Members. Members may rent space at discounted rates.

Terms

When renting space at Artworks, you will have access to bathrooms, utility sinks and certain art equipment, such as easels, tables and stools. Renters will be responsible for their own set-up and clean-up. Artworks will provide garbage cans and bags, brooms, dustpans and sponges. A deposit may be required, depending on intended use, size of group and length of time to be used. Full payment, including deposit, must be made prior to use. Checks are payable to "Artworks." Send rental fees to Artworks, 19 Everett Alley, Trenton, NJ 08611. Artworks reserves the right not to rent to individuals or organizations whose mission or use is not compatible with Artwork's mission, values or other activities taking place in the facility.
