ARTWORKS - Because of you! Remember the kaleidoscopic fun you and your family had at Art All Night? The free-wheeling celebratory feel of the Artworks gallery openings you've attended? Dancing at the Halloween party? Getting drawn in by a curator's talk at one of our groundbreaking shows? 2009 has been a tremendous year at Artworks: • Art All Night was a success with more than 8,000 attendees, 30 musical acts, 20 art demos, and 650 pieces of artwork displayed. • Nine groundbreaking shows in Artworks' galleries featuring high quality work from many local artists. • We polished up our facility and were able to create a "Community Gallery", a second art space within our facility. The Community Gallery has featured brilliant work from local emerging artists and allowed us to partner with other Trenton organizations to display the talents of our community. • We threw our First Annual Monsters Ball Halloween Party where people came out of the woodwork to show off creative costume-making talent, create some Halloween art, and dance the night away. • We completed our Education Marketing Study and are prepared to offer the classes that YOU requested in 2010. These are just a handful of the good times we've engineered at Artworks. The best part is - a vast majority of our programming is offered at little or no cost to attendees. If you'd like to keep the fun coming, consider giving a little back to Artworks Trenton, the one Mercer County non-profit arts institution where serious fun meets high art. Even a modest donation to our operating fund helps us continue to offer you creative programming featuring thought-provoking work by both established and emerging artists, on display right here in Trenton at expansive and historic spaces like none other in the region.
