Live Art Fusion by Timeless Tattoo

Description: Live Art features a number of artists working on a single canvas collaboratively in intervals. The canvas will be slowly rotating until the piece is complete. This year’s artists will be Chris Stumpf, Frank Rudy, Matt Kimball, Stampy Goblyn, Bill Hewitt and Rudy Stumpf. Many of the artists come from a tattoo background and practice their craft locally. The finished product will be a prize for a random raffle drawing, with all donations being given directly to ArtWorks.

Glass Blowing

Description: Michael Moculak and his mobile glass blowing studio are at it again. Year after year this is one of the most exciting events at Art All Night. Glowing hot glass is blown, molded and formed into a number of objects including vases and figurines right before your eyes. Come take a look at something most people never get to see. You will be “blown” away.

Dentz Designs Presents: Live T-Shirt Screen Printing

Description: Here's your chance to get a Limited Edition Art All Night 2010 T Shirt made right in front of you. Carolyn Dentz is a local screen printer and owner of Dentz Design. Watch her complete this creative process and witness exactly how shirts are made. These shirts will be for sale immediately after they are made and proceeds will benefit ArtWorks.

Description: Glenn Moore’s quirky and charismatic fire tiki’s will be on display for the entirety of the event. Glenn builds his tiki’s from raw steel and found materials creating unique designs. You can even roast a hotdog on them!

Graf On Girls

Description: Leon Rainbow, his Viscous Styles crew and other artists will turn beautiful women into one of a kind living pieces of art. Armed with airbrushes, body paint and markers Leon and the other artists will embellish on the natural beauty of the human body. After the painting is done you can get a photo with your favorite model.

Streets As Living Space

Description: As a collaborative effort between local artist Andrew Wilkinson and Diffy Productions “Streets as Living Space” will appear as out of place seating areas to those just walking by. Why would living room furniture be outside you might ask? The underlying message of this installation ties into a photo series Wilkinson did for The Mercer Homeless Alliance. In the series the homeless were depicted as living in the streets with furniture and all as if it was their living room. Those who come and utilize the seating at AAN 2010 will find literature about homelessness in Mercer County and how they can help.

Iron Pour

Description: For a number of years the Art All Night crew has been trying to demo an iron pour at AAN. This is the year. Veteran iron casting artists from Abominog Intl. will be coming to pour molten iron into forms while festival goers watch. Just imagine that stream of hot iron glowing in the dark only to cool and become solid again while you watch. This is something many have never seen so do not miss it.

Description: Journey through a yoga class focused on awakening the creative flow of energy at your core. Description: Let's talk about it, take some photos and exhibit them all in the same night! Bring your digital camera (card and batteries too), camera flash(es) and flashlight, tripod or bag of dried beans, self-timer and stop watch, co-creators and subjects, props and anything else you can think of. Please, no sparklers!

  1. 9:00 p.m. - 9:45 p.m.
    Review of the different tools and methods for making night photos. See examples. Get inspired. Brainstorm.
  2. Step 2: 9:45 p.m. - 11/:30 p.m.
    Go out and make a bunch of night photos at Art All Night or about town.
  3. Step 3: 11 p.m. - 11:30 p.m.
    Return and share your photos with Cie.

Ignite

Description: Ignite is a high-energy presentation of 5-minute talks by people who have an idea—and the guts to get onstage and share it with the crowd. The Ignite motto: "Enlighten us, but make it quick." Join us as we have our first ever Ignite Trenton and local visionaries share their ideas on anything from art to urban development.

Local Music Roundtable

Description: This panel discussion will include members of successful self promoted bands, managers, radio personalities and many others from the Trenton/Mercer music scene. The panel will focus on topics such as viral promotion, independent booking and uplifting the Trenton music scene in the future. Questions and crowd input is welcome. After the event bring your promotional materials to share with others in the crowd and the panel.

Graffiti Demo

Description: Have you ever passed by a graffiti mural in the city and wondered, “how did that come out of a spray can?” Local Trenton graffiti artist Leon Rainbow is going to show you how. Learn the basics of graffiti and hear some of Leon’s stories about how he creates graffiti in legal spaces and his road to get there.
